March 31 marked the 91st year in which St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix were purchased from the Dutch by the US which is referred to as “Transfer Day”.   Our Governer John DeJongh is said to be looking foward to going to Denmark in May to discuss topics such as ancestry, retention of records and strengthening social ties and economic opportunities between the territory and the European nation.  ÂÂ
